Silhouette

At last here is my silhouette. Hair was a complete nightmare! (Well it's my own fault since I didn't bother to brush it when I took the picture O_o)

Ugly Birthday

Late night creation. Ugly doll gift bag for the boyfriend's niece. It's her 10th birthday tomorrow! Pretty sure I killed all of his sharpie's in the process.

Big Bad Wolf

Here is my attempt of creating the "Big Bad" wolf using the circle tool in illustrator. Kinda looks like the chupacabra..

Nothing to Wear..

I always have mixed emotions when a new semester starts. As soon as you start getting used to your teachers and classmates, you get plucked away into a new classroom and have to start ALL OVER AGAIN.  Although, I have to admit it can be quite refreshing as well. Not to mention it’s always the perfect excuse to go clothes shopping!
This semester has quite the work load for me, but I can’t wait to see what I create. In the meantime, here are some projects from previous semesters that have been buried in my closet.

Quite the Cutie. Wanted him to be childlike like. Curious, happy and temperamental.
My very first time using illustrator, pulled an all nighter working on it.

If I had taken Christian's Illustrator class first, I'm sure I could have done this in about an hour!

Jersey Shore's Snooki, I don’t think anymore explanation is needed.  Feel free to start fist pumping.

Putting our character into an environment.  Here is Billy and another character of mine, Shutterspeed.

Color Pencil Piece for my Perspective Class.

Copies of Masters

Portrait of a friend’s grandma. She is very dear to his heart. I fell in love with the photo and immediately knew I want to draw her.

Done with Charcoal on Lennox paper.

After seeing all this old work, a wave of nostalgia swept over me :)

Hello World!

Jo HeartsArt is a blog dedicated to all the artwork and crazy things I create while I attend school. Hopefully if I stick to my guns, I will be able to update this blog frequently and share all my projects with el mundo.

Below is myself portrait, done on lennox paper with charcoal. It was the final for my life drawing class. Took 4 weeks to complete!

That's it for now!
